The objective of this funding is to invest in the development, the delivery and the promotion of activities that engage Canadian youth in space-related initiatives to increase their level of interest and involvement in STEM.
We acknowledge the support of the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), PromoScience program.
The objectives of the Indigenous Languages and Cultures Program are to:
Strengthen Indigenous cultural identity and participation in Canadian society; and
Support the efforts of Indigenous Peoples to reclaim, revitalize, maintain and strengthen Indigenous languages and cultures.
Canada Summer Jobs is an initiative of the Youth Employment and Skills Strategy, which aims to provide flexible and holistic services to help all young Canadians develop the skills and gain paid work experience to successfully transition into the labour market.
This federal-provincial investment is the largest job training program in Alberta’s history. It will support our province’s recovery, help businesses re-open or grow their workforce post pandemic, and give Albertans an opportunity to gain the skills they need in today’s job market.
