NSERC PromoScience

IndigeSTEAM has received 3 years of funding from NSERC PromoScience in order to develop many of our camp-developed workshops into Topic Bundles.  The Topic Bundles will include lesson plans for various ages/grades, Indigenous and scientific background material and online resources, Elder stories, hands-on kits and materials, pre-recorded or live or online mentor interviews and stories, ideas for using materials as workshops, demos, camp activities, teacher PD and presenter training, Elder input and approval.  We are very excited to have this opportunity to share what we have been doing and developing for the past 10 years to groups across Canada.
