On the Land STEAM Overnight Camp 2024
Heartening Valley Wilderness Retreat
Overnight in main retreat house or bunkhouses
July 15 to July 19
Grades 7-12 youth (age 12 and up)
Departs by bus from Calgary
Max 20 youth. Once we reach 20, we will hold registrations for wait list.
Topics in development. Will combine Ways of Knowing and STEM/STEAM with outdoor activities.
Red Deer STEAM Day Camp 2024
Red Deer Polytechnic
Day camp only: no overnight residence offered
July 22 to July 24
Grades 9-12 youth (age 14 and up)
Max 20-30 youth.
Topics in development. Will combine Culture and STEM and explore topics that introduce youth the to the urban college setting.
Calgary STEAM Overnight Camp 2024
University of Calgary
Overnight in UCalgary student residence
July 29 to August 2
Grades 7-12 youth (age 12 and up)
Max 20 youth. Once we reach 20, we will hold registrations for wait list.
Content is hosted this year by the UCalgary School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape.
Edmonton STEAM Overnight Camp 2024
University of Alberta
Overnight in UAlberta student residence
August 12 to August 16
Grades 7-12 youth (age 12 and up)
Max 20 youth. Once we reach 20, we will hold registrations for wait list.
Topics in development. Will combine Culture and STEM and explore topics that introduce youth the to the urban university setting.
Calgary STEAM/Robotics Day Camp 2024
Mindfuel and/or University of Calgary
Day camp only: no overnight residence offered
August 19 to August 23
Grades 4-6 Lego and other robots. Grades 7-12 Lego or Tetrix/Rev robots.
Max 20-30 youth.
This camp will involve building and coding robots. Learn about IndigeSTEAM's Robot Clubs, Robot Pow Wows, Robot Teams and gearing up for FIRST Robotics events and competition season through 2025. Think sport meets robots!
