Join   a   Robot Club / Team

Want to join a robot club? 

Join a robot club!  Robot clubs will meet in person with coaches, mentors, tutors, teachers.  We are able to offer this for Calgary right away, but looking at other locations where you are.  If you already have an adult who can supervise and someone to build with, you can register as a team right away.  If you form a team of your own and want to invite others in your neighbourhood, we will post your team here too. 

If you are in Calgary and want to join a larger group that meets on Saturdays, in partnership with First Robotic Leagues register here to be a part of Team Calgary.  We meet in the Digital Media Studio at Spark Science Centre. If you have a robot kit, bring it!  

Possible change in location depending on age group and FIRST teams 


The Calgary robot club will run:

September 2023 to April, 2024  


FIRST Lego League - Grades 1 - 6

Saturdays 9am - 12pm @ Telus Spark or Mindfuel - Starting October 14th


FIRST Tech Challenge Teams - Grades 7 - 12 Saturdays 11 am - 3pm - Starting September 9th

Location to be determined. You can still join


Lego League for keen youth Grade 1 to 4 require a parent to stay.  Indigenous youth and youth who are Newcomers (recent immigrants) to Canada.        


PARENTS:  You are welcome to join your youth and learn a bit about IndigeSTEAM and being a robotics coach and mentor.  We especially welcome you to share your story with some of our non-Indigenous mentors and coaches.
