Tell a Story in VR

Learning Blackfoot or Cree or other Indigenous language

and how to program Oculus VR app/games

Tell a Story

You can learn how to code and create virtual art through the Oculus Quest Virtual Reality platform.

You can learn Blackfoot or Cree or perhaps you are taking another Indigenous Language.  Tell a story about the meaning of the words in VR.  If each word has a story of meaning, there are hundreds of stories you can tell.

IndigeSTEAM and Red Iron Labs are pleased to offer this new course that engages youth to learn an Indigenous language (Blackfoot) alongside putting their language learning to use right away by also learning to program an application or game for Oculus Quest 2 as a way to teach others through story telling and visual content.  Youth taking any Indigenous language can take the VR course.
