Wendy Hutchins

Wendy is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor, Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary. She started her STEM career in Medical Laboratory Technology, then returned to school to get her degrees. During her post-doctoral work at UofC, she obtained a patent, then went on to be an instructor and director in the Master of Biomedical Technology program. She has done STEM outreach all through her career including Facutly advisor for Let's Talk Science at UofC, Sr Scientist Program Development for Alberta Innovates Health Solutions, and Power to Choose director for Alberta Women's Science Network. Power to Choose is the program that linked her with Rob and Deanna and lead to the founding of IndigeSTEAM.
