IndigeSTEAM is committed to providing Indigenous-led and culturally relevant STEM/STEAM educational opportunities for Indigenous and non-Indigenous youth.  The workshop/class topics below are priced here for non-Indigenous schools.  There is a small profit in these workshops that helps us to keep providing them to Indigenous youth and schools at no cost. We are willing to discuss pricing to fit your budget. For Indigenous teachers and classes, these workshops are offered at no cost supported by our grant from NSERC PromoScience.  This grant also supported the development of the content. 

 

There are locations where we are willing and able to travel, but we have also done cross-Canada presentations via Zoom and shipping the kits to the location.  There is a training session for the classroom help needed to be our hands when we are not there.  Training sessions are $200 / person. Trained teachers are then able to purchase kits for additional workshops any time and they will be shipped you.

Aides may be required for some workshops of >25 youth.  This varies based on some of the specific content you request, the size and number of classes/day, and the skill/experience of the facilitator.  Please provide as much detail as possible for your workshop and we will provide a quote.
